Accounting Manager

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who takes pride in maintaining accurate records, adhering to structured processes, and delivering dependable results. You’ll be trusted to manage core accounting operations independently, ensure timely and accurate month-end closes, and maintain financial data that leaders can confidently use to make decisions. The role requires sound judgment, follow-through, and comfort working with recurring monthly cycles in a fast-moving but disciplined environment.

You will be responsible for day-to-day accounting execution as well as critical monthly deliverables, including reconciliations, reporting, payroll processing, and commission calculations tied to assets under management.

Core Responsibilities

●        Complete monthly bank and account reconciliations with accuracy and consistency.

●        Prepare and close monthly financial statements, including profit and loss and balance sheets.

●        Calculate and reconcile monthly commissions based on assets under management.

●        Process payroll accurately and on schedule using a payroll management system.

●        Maintain well-organized, audit-ready financial records and supporting documentation.

Requirements

●        Proven experience performing monthly bank and account reconciliations.

●        Experience preparing monthly profit and loss statements.

●        Experience preparing monthly balance sheets.

●        Experience executing full month-end close processes.

●        Experience calculating assets under management commission amounts.

●        Experience reconciling commission calculations.

●        Experience processing payroll using an online payroll system.

●        Ability to maintain accurate, well-organized financial records.

●        Experience producing reliable monthly financial reporting for leadership review.
