Your Role
We are seeking a skilled Finance Analyst - Network Costs to join our vibrant Finance team based in our Brisbane HQ. You will work alongside motivated finance professionals with impressive credentials and experience across chartered and commercial environments, supported by CA and CPA-qualified experts. In this role, you’ll gain exposure across the Global Finance function—including Accounting, Corporate Reporting, Tax, Shared Services, and Financial Planning & Analysis.

You will also collaborate closely with teams across Sales, Operations, Procurement, and Engineering. The ideal candidate will have proven experience working with large operational and financial datasets, a strong understanding of financial and cost-related principles, and an analytical mindset capable of delivering meaningful insights and reporting to management. You will play a key role in enhancing Network Costs accuracy, driving process efficiency, and supporting continuous improvement and automation of related systems and controls.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing and maintaining accurate Network Costs and related financial records, including key general ledger accounts
  • Analysing Network Costs trends, drivers, and variances across products, geographies, and time periods
  • Reviewing financial documents and transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Preparing and delivering Network Costs reporting and insights that support commercial and operational decision-making
  • Supporting annual and quarterly budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling related to costs and margins
  • Maintaining and improving data models, dashboards, and reporting frameworks
  • Partnering with stakeholders across Operations, Procurement, and Engineering to track and report on cost drivers, vendor spend, and upcoming initiatives
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining data procedures to strengthen accuracy and control
  • Performing general ledger reconciliations that demonstrate sound financial control
  • Building an understanding of key supplier and vendor contracts to support cost allocation and analysis
  • Preparing ad hoc analysis and reports as needed to support strategy and performance
  • What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience working with large datasets, preferably within a commercial, operational, or finance environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and present data insights clearlyExperience supporting or executing data-driven month-end processes with a focus on accuracy and completeness
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight reporting deadlines
  • High attention to detail, particularly when reconciling data sources and validating inputs prior to posting journals
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence working across cross-functional teams
  • Exceptional attention to detailIntermediate to advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar
  • Nice to have, but not essential traits and experience

  • Experience working in a global organisation with multi-jurisdictional operations
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics D365 or other large ERP systems
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce CPA, CA, or equivalent qualification (or currently studying toward one)
