Head of product office
We are seeking candidates for a Head of Product Office position for our client, a leading Ukrainian production company.
In this position, you will be taking part in R&D projects focused on developing new products.
In particular, you will:
“Bridge vision and execution” - translate CPO ideas into clear, prioritized and technically feasible plans
Coordinate the full product development cycle - from initial concept and prototype validation to production
Implement and optimize product processes - use frameworks for prioritization, hypothesis validation and implementation control
Ensure cross-functional interaction - organize effective communication between engineers, designers, buyers and technologists.
Control project deadlines and budgets - proactively identify risks and ensure timely prototype production
Standardize documentation and reporting - maintain clear records of product requirements, solutions and test results
Manage product validation in the market - plan and conduct early product testing with users or pilot customers.
Build a performance culture - train and mentor teams on best practices, accountability, and continuous improvement
Track and report on product results - identify key metrics for prototype success and ensure lessons learned are used in future developments.
Continuously improve processes - identify bottlenecks in product delivery and implement scalable solutions.
Qualification criteria:
5+ years of experience in product management, delivery or R&D leadership (software or hardware)
Proven successful experience coordinating cross-functional teams in a dynamic, multi-project environment
Strong process design and implementation skills (Agile/Scrum, lean product development)
Excellent communication skills - ability to "speak the same language" with both top managers and engineers
Analytical thinking - ability to structure vague ideas into testable hypotheses
Experience in market validation, prototype testing and KPI-based decision-making
High level of organization, prioritization and risk management.
English - Upper-Intermediate or higher (for working with documentation and external partners)
Experience in hardware product development will be an advantage, but not required with a strong software background.
