About the Role

What’s the mission you’ll drive

Drive the independent, risk-based evaluation of Addi CF's technological Internal Control System to ensure full compliance with Colombian financial regulations to safeguard the stability and integrity of our platform as we operate as a regulated financial entity.

What you will do

  • Complete 100% of assigned technology audits within the annual internal audit plan on time, delivering high-quality, actionable recommendations that strengthen the Internal Control System and receive formal management acceptance within 15 calendar days..

  • Validate the technology controls component in 100% of all process audits conducted by the Internal Audit team, ensuring consistent and comprehensive technology risk coverage across the entire audit function.

  • Upload 100% of completed working papers to the Internal Audit application before issuing final reports to audited areas, ensuring the integrity and quality of all documentation.

  • Track and monitor all corrective action plans for the technology component of internal audits and external oversight bodies, achieving at least 85% completion of agreed-upon actions.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven Internal Audit Expertise in a Regulated Financial Environment:

    • 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in internal auditing, external auditing (with a special emphasis on financial services/banking clients), or risk management in the banking, financial services, or fintech sectors.

    • Direct experience in reviewing and advising on the design of automated and technology controls for systems of entities in the national and/or international financial sector.

    • In-depth knowledge of internal auditing principles, methodologies, and standards, specifically related to the COBIT framework applied to the entities' technological Internal Control System.

  • Regulatory Knowledge & Compliance Acumen:

    • Proven experience in auditing complex technology systems, information security, cybersecurity, cloud computing, technological support for financial products, and audit visits to technology providers.

    • Solid understanding of the regulations relevant to financial institutions in Colombia, and particularly the operations that Addi CF will carry out related to savings and credit products.

    • Knowledge and proficiency in technologies such as data analysis, programming, and artificial intelligence applied to audit processes.

  • Outstanding Problem-Solving & Analytical Thinking Capabilities:

    • Proven ability to identify significant control weaknesses, develop practical and value-added recommendations, and effectively monitor their implementation by Senior Management, resulting in the strengthening of the Internal Control System.

    • Experience supporting the Internal Audit Manager in preparing and delivering clear, concise, and impactful audit reports and presentations to Senior Management and the Audit Committee.

  • Solid Communication & Stakeholder Management Skills:

    • Clearly and concisely communicates audit findings and recommendations, both verbally and in writing, to diverse audiences, including senior management, those responsible for the audited process, and the Internal Audit Manager.

    • Establishes collaborative relationships while maintaining independence and objectivity.

    • Demonstrates management of relationships with process leaders thanks to experience and arguments based on the risks the Company faces as well as best practices in the financial sector.

  • Exceptional Ownership & Initiative:

    • Takes ownership of assigned audit projects in accordance with the Annual Audit Plan, anticipates needs, identifies opportunities for improvement, and acts proactively.

    • Supports audits by providing technological support for the technological component of other audits performed by the team.

    • Proactively identifies emerging risk areas based on industry trends and proposes additional audits or new approaches to conducting scheduled audits, when necessary.

    • Is available to support any work required by the internal audit area, in accordance with the area's functions and mandate.
