Western Europe Payroll Manager (m/f/d)

You will take end-to-end responsibility for payroll operations across Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, the United Kingdom, and Portugal as part of our global Payroll leadership team at SIXT. YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You hold full accountability for accurate, compliant, and on-time payroll delivery across Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, UK, and Portugal

• You lead, coach, and develop payroll teams while building a culture of ownership, precision, and accountability through peak periods and audits

• You serve as the escalation point for complex payroll, tax, social security, and labor law topics across the assigned markets

• You drive standardization and continuous improvement while respecting local legal and regulatory requirements together will the other leads in People Financial Management

• You partner closely with local HR, Finance, IT, Legal, and external payroll providers to translate complex matters into clear insights for senior management

• You lead payroll transformation initiatives including system implementations and vendor transitions while ensuring uninterrupted payroll delivery

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• Leadership You have proven multi-country payroll leadership experience, ideally across Western Europe with strong team development capabilities

• Expertise You demonstrate deep knowledge of payroll operations within highly regulated environments and strict compliance frameworks

• Resilience You excel at leading teams through pressure, complexity, and transformation while maintaining operational stability

• Stakeholder management You possess excellent communication skills and translate technical payroll topics into decision-ready insights for senior leaders

• Problem-solving You maintain a structured, risk-aware, and solution-oriented mindset with focus on audit readiness and governance

• Languages You are fluent in English while additional European languages are a plus, and experience with ADP Global View advantageous
