We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect specializing in Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to lead end-to-end solution design, implementation, and optimization initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in transforming business processes through scalable architecture, seamless integrations, and effective stakeholder collaboration. This role requires strong technical depth, hands-on solutioning expertise, and the ability to translate business requirements into actionable system designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design, system configuration, integration strategy, and deployment of Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions across multi-module implementations.
• Collaborate closely with business leaders, functional consultants, developers, and project managers to define technical vision, architecture strategy, and implementation roadmap.
• Analyze complex business requirements and map them into scalable and secure Business Central architectures.
• Provide technical leadership across solutioning, gap analysis, and customisation, including extensions using AL, C/AL, and related tools.
• Drive solution best practices, governance, and performance optimization for Business Central implementations.
• Oversee migration from legacy systems and older versions of NAV to Business Central Cloud / On-Prem.
• Lead system integration with third-party applications, ERP extensions, APIs, Azure services, Power Platform, and reporting tools.
• Conduct architecture reviews, solution testing, deployment planning, quality assurance, and documentation.
• Mentor and guide development and consulting teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor for clients, supporting pre-sales, solution demonstrations, and effort estimations.
• Manage risk identification, mitigation planning, and performance improvement strategies across the solution lifecycle.
• Ensure scalability, security, and compliance with enterprise and industry standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 9–20 years of overall experience with strong expertise in Dynamics NAV and Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC / Dynamic Business Central).
• Proven experience designing and implementing complex, large-scale ERP solutions in diverse industries.
• Strong proficiency in AL, C/AL, C/SIDE, Extensions V2, Integration development, and Business Central SaaS and On-Prem architecture models.
• Deep understanding of financials, supply chain, manufacturing, warehousing, inventory, and service management modules.
• Hands-on experience with Upgrades, Data Migration, and NAV-to-BC transformation projects.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft ecosystem—Azure, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-team coordination skills.
• Ability to lead solution discussions, deliver architecture documentation, and support pre-sales solutioning.
• Professional certifications such as MB-800 / Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central are highly desirable.
